Key Responsibilities: Architect and manage AWS RDS Postgres environments. Work with database migration teams and Murex reporting SMEs. Migrate SQL queries from Sybase to Postgres . Validate post-migration reporting and ensure query performance. Perform technical analysis, solution design, development, and unit testing . Participate in defect resolution across production and test environments. Take end-to-end ownership of tasks with Business Analysts and Testing teams. Mandatory Skills: 4+ years of experience as a Database Administrator/Architect . Extensive AWS RDS Postgres expertise (backups, data migrations, automation). Hands-on experience in Sybase to Postgres migration . PL/pgSQL coding and debugging skills. AWS migration expertise , especially for database technologies. Financial services experience . Nice-to-Have Skills: Murex reporting and Datamart knowledge (a significant plus).
