Trainee - QA/QC

Job Description

Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic QA Trainee Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build a strong foundation in software testing and quality assurance. As a QA Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience with various testing methodologies and tools, ensuring software applications meet high-quality standards. Role & responsibilities : Understand and conduct Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Manual Testing methodologies . Understand and assist in Functional Testing , ensuring software functionality meets business requirements. Learn and contribute to develop Test Scenarios, Test Plans , and prepare detailed Test Cases . Understand and assist in performing UI, Web, and Mobile application testing to ensure seamless user experience. Understand and to utilize tools such as MS Excel, Jira, Redmine , etc., for tracking and reporting defects. Understand and learn to execute basic API Testing using tools like Postman, SOAPUI etc. Collaborate with developers and analysts, understand and contribute in identifying and resolving defects efficiently. Learn and contribute to reporting test results and maintain documentation for future reference. Learn and contribute to security testing using tools such as Burp Suite . Learn and contribute to automation testing using Selenium WebDriver, Cypress.IO Apply basic knowledge of SQL queries and Database Testing . Preferred candidate profile : Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Certification: ISTQB Certified (preferred but not mandatory) . Skills: Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment. Basic Understanding of Java, JavaScript, VB, or Python for test scripts preferred. Work Location: Hyderabad
