Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Python Tech Lead to join our team in India. This on-site position requires a deep understanding of Python programming as well as strong leadership skills to guide our developers toward successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience with full software development lifecycle and a knack for mentoring junior team members. Role Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of Python developers. Develop high-quality, testable, and maintainable code. Design and implement scalable architectures for applications. Review code and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Participate in product design discussions and architectural decisions. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software. Integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic. Ensure security and data protection practices are followed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation. Participate in regular Agile ceremonies including stand-ups and retrospectives. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies. Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions within the team. Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Python. 2+ years in a leadership or tech lead role. Strong experience with Django or Flask frameworks. Proficiency with front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS). Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker. Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Capable of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience with version control systems (Git). Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
