Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant with 6 months to 1 year of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounting software like Zoho Books, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow in accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. Key Responsibilities: Manage Zoho Books: Assist in day-to-day accounting activities by accurately recording transactions and maintaining financial data using Zoho Books. Prepare Financial Statements: Support in generating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring data accuracy and compliance. Internal Audits: Participate in internal audits to review financial records, identify discrepancies, and ensure adherence to policies and regulations. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Help in preparing financial reports for management. Assist in analyzing financial data to support business decisions. Budgeting & Forecasting Support: Assist in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts, supporting financial planning processes. Bookkeeping & Reconciliation: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, such as journal entries, bank reconciliations, and tracking credit card/indirect expenses. GST Compliance: Assist in GST 2B reconciliation to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting and compliance. Ledger Reconciliation: Support the reconciliation of ledgers to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial records. Financial Data Analysis: Use advanced Excel skills to assist with financial analysis, creating reports, and performing reconciliations. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal accounting procedures. Communication: Effectively communicate financial information to the finance team and other departments, ensuring transparency and clarity. Required Skills & Qualifications: Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 6 months to 1 year of experience in accounting or finance, preferably with experience using Zoho Books or similar accounting software. Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Zoho Books or similar accounting software. Good knowledge of Excel (basic to intermediate level). Familiarity with GST compliance and basic tax reporting. Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately handle financial data, ensuring consistency and precision. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to present financial data clearly. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and help with resolving discrepancies in financial data. Experience with HRMS Portal. Familiarity with internal audits and basic regulatory compliance. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
