Job Description

What this job involves: Responsible for the functioning of global transaction revenue recognition process. Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of staff of 35+ people. Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion and coordinate work activities. Drive efficiency in the team by keeping a rigorous watch on team and individual’s productivity. Provide strong leadership to reporting line and manage expectations within the team (performance, compensation and promotion). Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of deals approved or denied for revenue recognition. High level internal liaising regarding escalated matters as appropriate. Ability to research accounting literature and other Big 4 interpretive guides. Proactively seek out additional responsibilities or ways to more effectively contribute to the group, including working independently on special projects and utilizing specialized knowledge of systems and procedures to enhance individual, group or departmental productivity, aid in problem solving/issue resolution, best practice documentation, and process improvement. Act as a mentor and providing training and guidance when required to team members. Ensure the agreed internal and external KPIs (Productivity, Accuracy, and TAT) are met. Sound like you? Ability to understand and utilize specific revenue processing software to maximize efficiencies in deal processing. Effective working knowledge of Microsoft office products. Demonstrates professional leadership skills through effective work habits, attitude, inter-personal skills, initiative and follow-through. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure with multiple and changing tasks. Key skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills with external clients as well as professionals within the department. Experience and success working in a team environment. Employee specification.
