Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Application Support Professional to join our team in a Level 2 (L2) support role. This position is ideal for someone who can handle day-to-day technical issues in production environments, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure high system availability. You'll work closely with developers, QA, and business users to resolve production issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Monitor production applications and systems for issues. Provide L2 support for incidents, service requests, and bug fixes. Investigate and resolve application problems, data issues, and performance concerns. Collaborate with development teams for issue resolution and root cause analysis. Escalate complex issues to Level 3 (L3) support or engineering when needed. Perform regular system checks, batch job monitoring, and log analysis. Document support procedures, known errors, and workarounds. Work in shifts and be available for on-call support as needed. Participate in deployments and post-deployment verification. Ensure SLAs are met for incident resolution and service delivery. Required Skills: Strong experience in Application/Production Support. Proficient in troubleshooting Java/.NET applications, APIs, or microservices. Good understanding of SQL and ability to write queries to analyze data. Familiar with Linux/Unix commands and shell scripting. Experience with ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA). Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus. Experience in ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management). Good to Have: Exposure to tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace for monitoring. Experience working in banking, finance, or insurance domain. Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git). Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Good team player with a proactive attitude.
