Position Overview: Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on routing, switching, and load balancing. Proven experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization. Technical Skills: Proficiency in configuring and managing routers and switches (e.g., Cisco, Juniper). Experience with load balancing technologies and solutions (e.g., Citrix, F5, HAProxy). Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs). Familiarity with network security practices and technologies (e.g., firewalls, VPNs). Network Design and Implementation: Configure and maintain routing and switching equipment, including routers, switches, and load balancers. Assist in the design and deployment of network solutions to meet business needs. Implement network changes and updates while adhering to best practices. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to routing, switching, and load balancing. Provide Tier 2 support for network-related incidents and problems. Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve cross-functional issues. Performance Optimization: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network bottlenecks or performance issues. Optimize network configurations for maximum efficiency and reliability. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering or a related role, with hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting network devices. - Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and OSI model. - Experience with network equipment from leading vendors, such as Cisco, Juniper, or Aruba. - Familiarity with network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and encryption protocols. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve network issues effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, CompTIA Network+) are a plus.
