Senior ETL Developer

Job Description

Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial firm , operating across multiple markets and asset classes . We are expanding our international development and support team for back-office applications , including regulatory reporting, settlements, and reconciliation . We are seeking an experienced ETL/Java Developer to join a mixed Luxoft/client team , focusing on new functionality development . This role provides an excellent opportunity to work directly with business users , enhance technical and capital markets knowledge , and develop consulting and soft skills . Technologies Used: MS SQL, Java 8/J2EE, Spring, Apache Camel Bespoke mapping language, Shell scripting, Control-M Key Responsibilities: Communicate with the client to understand and gather requirements. Develop and enhance applications using Java, SQL, MA, and shell scripting . Write unit and functional tests to ensure software quality. Provide Level 3 support , troubleshooting and resolving issues. Mandatory Skills & Experience: 4+ years of ETL experience (MS SQL preferred). 1+ year of experience with Java 8/J2EE . Strong knowledge of Spring Framework . Experience in the financial domain (preferably in regulatory reporting). Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders. Nice-to-Have Skills: Additional experience with MS SQL . Familiarity with Apache Camel . Work Mode & Hours: Fully remote/WFH opportunity. Flexible working hours , with alignment to UK business hours .
