Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Waiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage operations. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner Present menus and provide detailed information about dishes and beverages Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's POS system Serve food and beverages promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their meal Handle payments and operate cash registers accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area Assist in the training of new waitstaff as needed Address any guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner Skills and Qualifications 2-5 years of experience in a similar role Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent customer service orientation Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures Ability to multitask and manage time effectively Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings
