Job Summary: We are looking for a Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with developers and product teams. The role involves designing test plans, executing test cases, identifying bugs, and ensuring software meets high-quality standards before release. Job Description: 1. Test Planning & Documentation: Understand business requirements and create test plans and test strategies. Design and document test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for different applications. Maintain test documentation for future reference and compliance. 2. Functional & Manual Testing: Conduct functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate software functionality. Perform UI/UX testing to ensure seamless user experience across devices and browsers. Identify, report, and track defects using bug-tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, etc.). 3. Automation Testing: Develop and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright. Implement test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. Maintain and optimize automation test suites for scalability. 4. Performance & Security Testing: Conduct load, stress, and performance testing using tools like LoadRunner or JMeter. Work with the security team to perform basic security testing and vulnerability assessments. 5. API & Database Testing: Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI. Validate data integrity by conducting SQL database testing. 6. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues. Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Provide feedback and suggest improvements for enhanced software quality. Required Skills: 3-4 years of experience in software testing (manual & automation). Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Appium, JMeter, or similar tools. Knowledge of SQL queries for database testing Basic Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
