Site Engineer (Civil)

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee and manage on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, adhering to project specifications and timelines. Key Responsibilities: 1. On-Site Management: o Supervise day-to-day operations and construction activities. o Ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety protocols. o Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with design. 2. Coordination and Communication: o Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless workflow. o Serve as the point of contact for any on-site issues and communicate updates to the project manager. 3. Technical Support: o Provide technical guidance to the workforce and resolve technical issues promptly. o Interpret construction drawings and designs to the on-site team. 4. Progress Monitoring: o Track project progress and prepare daily and weekly reports. o Identify potential delays and implement corrective actions. 5. Resource Management: o Ensure optimal utilization of materials, tools, and equipment. o Monitor inventory and coordinate material procurement as needed. 6. Health and Safety: o Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. o Address and resolve any safety concerns promptly. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. · 2+ years of experience in site supervision or construction management. · Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and standards. · Proficiency in project management tools and software.
