Job Description

Role & responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Shift Management: Oversee daily operations during the assigned shift (e.g., resource arrangements/production/delivery/coordination inter departments). Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards. Coordinate shift handovers and communicate priorities to the next shift. Team Supervision : Lead, motivate, and manage shift staff (e.g., operators, /technicians). Assign tasks, monitor performance, and address attendance or disciplinary issues. • Performance Monitoring: o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, efficiency, and waste reduction. Report deviations from targets and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate logs and shift reports for management review. Safety & Compliance : Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols. Conduct safety briefings, audits, and risk assessments. Investigate incidents and implement preventive measures. Resource Management & Continual Improvement: Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment for uninterrupted operations. Optimize resource allocation to minimize downtime and costs. Continual improvement for PQCDSM parameters through active self and team participation in Kaizen/5S/QCC/EBITDA improvement projects Quality Control: Compliance to Daily Work Management (DWM). Monitor product/service quality and address defects or customer complaints promptly. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to maintain standards. Problem-Solving: Resolve operational issues (e.g., equipment breakdowns, staffing shortages) swiftly. Escalate critical problems to senior management when necessary. Specific Skills Hands on manufacturing (Moulding/Finishing/Adhesive bonding/ Gel coating/Painting/Repair/Assembly) experience of Composites/FRP Railways parts/Toilets/Nose Cab/Panels/Wind Blades. Know-how of pattern & mould manufacturing and maintenance process for Infusion/VARTM/RTM/Hand lay-up. • Know-how of stitched fabrics/WR/CFM/ Infusion media & consumables/ Epoxy/ Polyester/Phenolic resins system/Adhesives.
