We are seeking a Senior React Native Developer to drive the development of complex mobile solutions, mentor the team, and contribute to architectural decisions. Role Summary As a Senior React Native Developer, you will take ownership of the mobile application development lifecycle—from designing robust architectures and implementing advanced features to ensuring app performance and maintainability. You will mentor mid and junior developers, lead code reviews, and collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver world-class mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities Architect and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance React Native applications for both iOS and Android platforms. Lead the design and implementation of reusable component libraries and maintainable codebases. Collaborate with product and design teams to translate complex requirements into elegant and user-friendly mobile features. Implement advanced state management solutions using Redux Toolkit , MobX , or React Query . Optimize application performance, memory usage, and startup time across devices. Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and enforce coding standards to ensure high code quality. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers to grow their technical skills and improve productivity. Drive mobile app deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines, app store submissions, and OTA updates (e.g., CodePush, EAS). Proactively identify and troubleshoot bugs, security vulnerabilities, and performance bottlenecks. Stay abreast of the latest React Native ecosystem updates and industry trends; recommend and implement improvements. Contribute to the technical roadmap and collaborate with architects and DevOps teams to align on infrastructure and tooling. Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with at least 3+ years focused on React Native . Deep expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript , and the React Native framework internals. Strong understanding of native mobile development on iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Java/Kotlin) platforms, with experience bridging native modules. Proven experience in designing and implementing complex state management solutions (Redux, MobX, Recoil, or React Query). Mastery of performance optimization techniques, memory management, and profiling tools for mobile apps. Extensive experience with testing frameworks such as Jest , Detox , React Native Testing Library for unit, integration, and E2E testing. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Fastlane, GitHub Actions, Bitrise) and app store deployment processes. Familiarity with modern build systems and bundlers (Metro, Webpack) and debugging tools (Flipper, Reactotron). Strong knowledge of mobile security best practices, data privacy, and compliance. Experience with OTA updates, push notification integration, and offline data synchronization. Preferred Skills Experience with Expo managed and bare workflows. Familiarity with GraphQL (Apollo Client), Firebase, or other backend-as-a-service platforms. Knowledge of micro-frontends or modular mobile architectures. Exposure to accessibility standards (WCAG) and internationalization (i18n). Contributions to open-source React Native projects or community involvement.
