Senior Android Engineer

Job Description

Required Qualifications: Understand project requirements and efficiently complete assigned tasks within specified timelines. Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features. Conduct code reviews, maintain high code quality, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Troubleshoot and debug issues to enhance application performance and reliability. Continuously explore, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to optimize development processes. Understand client needs and translate them into functional applications. Stay current with the latest industry trends in mobile technology. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Engineering (CCE), Computer Science, or a related field from a reputable university. 5+ years of experience in designing and developing Android mobile applications. Proficiency in Kotlin (Java knowledge is a plus) and experience with Android frameworks (SDK, etc.). Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with backend services. Experience in developing Multi-Module Applications is a plus. Proficiency in Proguard (DexGuard experience is a plus). Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities. Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for a mission-based role. Experience in banking or fintech is a plus.
