Job Description: Salesforce QA Automation Engineer We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our Salesforce applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with automation tools, and a deep understanding of Salesforce testing methodologies. Responsibilities: Develop and execute automated test scripts for Salesforce applications using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Provar, or Robot Framework. Perform end-to-end functional, regression, and performance testing to validate Salesforce components, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, and integrations. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to define test requirements, scenarios, and acceptance criteria. Design and maintain a test automation framework that supports continuous integration (CI/CD) and deployment pipelines. Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues using tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or ALM. Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI to validate integrations between Salesforce and external systems. Ensure test data management and create test cases that simulate real-world business processes. Provide test reports and dashboards to monitor software quality and ensure compliance with company standards. Stay updated with Salesforce releases and enhancements to assess the impact on automation scripts. Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows. Basic Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Salesforce QA automation and software testing. Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Provar. Experience in writing SOQL/SOSL queries for data validation in Salesforce. Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation scripting. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with Lightning UI Testing, Apex Test Classes, and Salesforce security testing. Knowledge of performance testing and tools like JMeter is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in an Agile environment. Salesforce certification (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or QA Automation Specialist) is a plus.
