Job Title: Power BI Developer / Analyst (Senior Associate) Location : Hyderabad Experience : 5+ Years Employment Type : Contractual – 6 Months (Client-Side Role) About the Role We are hiring a Power BI Developer / Analyst (Senior Associate) for a 6-month contractual position at our client site in Hyderabad. You will be part of the Transition and Transformation Management Team, responsible for developing high-impact dashboards, automating reports, and supporting data-driven storytelling to meet key stakeholder requirements. This role demands strong Power BI development expertise, ETL experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports for business insights and decision-making. Automate data reporting to streamline processes and improve accuracy. Convert minimum viable dashboards into fully automated and scalable BI solutions . Work with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver meaningful analytics solutions. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs. Monitor and troubleshoot report performance and resolve data-related issues as needed. Leverage Python and SQL for ETL tasks and manage data pipelines from multiple sources including Azure and Databricks. Stay updated on BI trends and technologies to continuously enhance reporting capabilities. Required Skills & Qualifications Expert-level Power BI development skills – DAX, Power Query, and data visualizations. Hands-on experience with cloud data sources such as Azure SQL, semantic models, and data warehouses . Knowledge and experience with ETL tools/platforms like Databricks . Strong SQL and Python scripting for data extraction and transformation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle and optimize large and complex datasets . Soft Skills Effective communicator and collaborator. High integrity and professional ethics. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently in a contract-based and dynamic environment . Education & Experience Master’s degree with 3-4 years of relevant analytics experience or Bachelor’s degree with 5-6 years of relevant analytics experience Preferred (Nice to Have) Understanding of data modeling and database design . Exposure to predictive analytics or machine learning projects. Note: This is a 6-month contractual position with potential for extension based on project requirements and performance.
