Milton is looking for a Manager - New Product Development - Steel Interested candidates can share their resumes with at madhushree.patil@hamiltonindia.in Location: Mumbai (Kandivali) Key Responsibilities: Drive cost reduction activities. Define and optimize machining, press, and CNC tools for new products. Ensure tool verification and fool-proofing. Ensure timely launch of new products while maintaining quality. Review product and drawing specifications for manufacturing feasibility. Prepare product and process development plans. Conduct process and tool validation to build process capability. Issue resolutions at different stages of product development. Prepare product validation reports and improvement plans. Evaluate vendors and implement improvement plans. Organize material procurement from plants and vendors at various development stages. Prepare SOPs and process specifications for new products. Review drawings, packaging, and BOM (Bill of Materials). Ensure part/product quality per drawing specifications for all NPI (New Product Introduction). Competencies/Skills Required: Hands-on experience in tool design and development . Expertise in Zero-based costing and machining knowledge . Qualification & Experience: Education: BE/ B.Tech (Mechanical) Experience: 10+ years
