Job Description

Position: Interior Design Faculty Experience: 3-5 years Location: Nampally, Lingampally Position Overview Singapore SynchroSkills is seeking a talented and experienced Interior Design Faculty member to teach in our university-affiliated Interior Design program. The ideal candidate will combine professional industry experience with strong teaching abilities to provide students with comprehensive education in interior design principles, practices, and technologies. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions aligned with the university-affiliated interior design curriculum Teach fundamental and advanced interior design concepts including spatial planning, design theory, materials and finishes, lighting design, and sustainable practices Provide instruction in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D visualization tools Guide students through design projects from concept development to final presentation Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback to foster growth and improvement Mentor students on portfolio development and professional practice Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and sustainable practices in interior design Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and academic planning Maintain connections with the interior design industry to facilitate guest lectures, site visits, and potential internship opportunities Contribute to student exhibitions, design competitions, and other showcase events Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field required; Master's degree preferred Minimum 3 years of professional experience in interior design Previous teaching experience in higher education Strong portfolio demonstrating technical skills and design sensibility Proficiency with industry-standard interior design and architectural software Excellent communication and presentation skills Employment Details Full-time position with competitive salary Benefits package including healthcare and professional development allowance Opportunities for involvement in research and industry projects Collaborative and innovative teaching environment Location: Nampally, Lingampally Application Requirements CV/Resume highlighting relevant industry and teaching experience Portfolio of design work References from previous academic and industry positions Singapore SynchroSkills is committed to providing quality education through our university-affiliated programs.
