Enterprise Architect FTE Job Code: DTDLPL-72202 Bangalore, Karnataka, India 1 position Expires on 21/06/2025 Required Experience 12 - 20 Years Skills Android TV, OTT, exoplayer Key Responsibilities Define the technical architecture and system design for Android TV OTT applications, platform and frameworks. Lead the development of core components, libraries, and modules used across Android TV solutions. Evaluate and integrate third-party SDKs, middleware, and services. Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI designers, Architects and external partners to drive highly scalable technical Solutions . Collaborate with Android TV original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to facilitate new device launches and Android version upgrades. Optimize performance, memory usage, and responsiveness of Android TV applications. Ensure security, privacy, and compliance with platform guidelines. Drive innovation by staying updated with the latest in Android TV, AOSP, and smart TV technologies. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Android development teams. Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure adherence to architectural principles. Collaborate with stakeholders to define scalable and maintainable technology roadmaps. Define and constantly review Technical KPI’s for Product Experience to ensure best inclass customer experience. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 12+ years of experience in software development, with 5+ years in Android platform development. Deep expertise in Android TV, Leanback library, ExoPlayer, and custom launcher development. Strong understanding of Android system internals, AOSP, and HAL layers (preferred). Proven experience in designing and building scalable architecture for Android TV applications. Solid knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and Android SDK. Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, and release processes. Strong problem-solving skills, debugging experience, and performance profiling knowledge. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with native C/C++ using the Android NDK. Exposure to DRM, Widevine, OTT streaming services, or broadcast technologies (DVB/ATSC). Experience working with OEMs or chipset vendors for Android TV platform development. Contributions to open-source Android TV projects or AOSP is a plus.
