Job Description

Ensurescustomer satisfaction by courteously greeting customers and promptly escortingthem to their seats: Presentsmenus, suggests cocktails and/or daily specials. Exhibitsknowledge of all items on the menu and wine list. Takes order. Preparesorder for presentation to guest. Replenisheswater. Makes andpours coffee for the customers. Clears tablethroughout dining experience using proper methods for removing dishes,glassware and silverware. Processescustomer restaurant bills promptly and accurately. Cleanstables, chairs and floor area. Resets tablequickly. Polishessilverware and folds linen. Check theoverall condition of the dining room, ensuring its readiness for customers. Assistsservice team as necessary to meet or exceed guest expectations. Log book andreservations must be read at the beginning of each shift. Possesses avalid liquor card at all times. Acquires aworking knowledge of hotel, in-house facilities and local information to respondto customer questions in these areas. Promote all other services the hotel provides. Informssupervisor/manager of any customer dissatisfaction. Performs allduties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance withestablished company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectivesof this position.
