Position Details Job Title : Technology Leader - .Net Function/Department : Technology Location : Hyderabad – Work From Office Employment Type : Full-time Role Overview We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Technology Leader (.Net) with 15+ years of experience to lead the strategic evolution and modernization of our application landscape. This role is ideal for a seasoned technologist with deep expertise in .NET technologies and cloud platforms, who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about aligning technology initiatives with long-term business goals. The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence, strategic thinking, and leadership acumen to define and drive the future state architecture, modernization roadmap, and delivery strategy across mission-critical platforms. Responsibilities Technology Strategy & Vision: Define and evolve the technology strategy and architecture roadmap in alignment with business objectives, market trends, and digital transformation goals. Own the end-to-end technology vision for enterprise-grade applications, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance. Collaborate with executive leadership to align technical initiatives with business drivers and priorities. Application Modernization & Road map: Lead the modernization and re-architecture of legacy .NET applications to modern cloud-native solutions. Develop a future-state application roadmap, prioritizing high-impact transformation initiatives. Champion API-first, microservices-oriented architecture and DevOps automation best practices. Cloud Strategy & Implementation: Architect and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions on cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but also AWS/GCP). Drive cloud adoption, migration planning, and optimization strategies across teams and applications. Technical Leadership: Lead by example with hands-on guidance in architectural design, code reviews, proof of concepts, and high-level troubleshooting. Mentor engineering and solution architecture teams; foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies to improve application performance, security, and maintainability. Stakeholder Management & Governance: Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Define and enforce architecture governance processes, technology standards, and best practices. Partner with program managers to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to architectural principles. Required Qualifications: 15+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and technical leadership. Deep expertise in the .NET ecosystem (.NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, etc.). Strong experience architecting and delivering applications on cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure. Proven track record of leading application modernization and digital transformation initiatives at scale. Experience in defining and implementing enterprise architecture, cloud-native design, and DevOps pipelines. Ability to balance hands-on technical involvement with high-level strategy and vision. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with microservices architecture, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and event-driven systems. Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance, and cloud governance models. Certifications in Azure Solutions Architecture, AWS Architect Professional, or equivalent. Why Chubb?
