Java Technical Project Manager Location: Hyderabad Employment Type: FTE Experience: 10+ years Job Summary: We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (Java) with a strong background in Java development, architecture, and cloud technologies. This role requires a blend of hands-on technical expertise (60-70%) and project management (30%) to drive the successful delivery of complex projects. Key Responsibilities: Technical (60-70%) Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Guide the team on best practices, design patterns, and coding standards. Work with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Drive technical discussions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the adoption of the latest technologies. Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and system optimizations. Collaborate with architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality software delivery. Project Management (30%) Define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation. Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring alignment with project goals. Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stakeholder communication. Identify project risks, dependencies, and propose mitigation strategies. Work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Required Skills & Experience: Technical Expertise: 10+ years of experience in Java-based application development. Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Familiarity with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and caching mechanisms. Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, and DevOps practices. Project Management: Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive project execution. Experience in client/stakeholder management. Ability to handle multiple projects and ensure timely delivery. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills. Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Strong collaboration skills across teams and departments.
