Job Description

Smapit is seeking a Storyboard Artist who can translate ideas into compelling visual narratives. If you have a strong sense of storytelling, composition, and pacing—and can visualize scenes for product videos, animations, and brand films—this role is for you. Responsibilities: Create detailed and clear storyboards to visualize product animations, explainer videos, and cinematic brand films. Interpret scripts, briefs, and concepts into frame-by-frame illustrations. Collaborate with creative directors, animators, and 3D artists to ensure alignment of vision. Suggest visual storytelling techniques, camera angles, transitions, and scene compositions. Revise storyboards based on feedback and maintain version control for production teams. Key Qualifications: 1 year of experience in storyboard creation for animation, advertising, or visual media. Strong drawing skills (digital or traditional) and a solid understanding of composition, perspective, and motion. Familiarity with storytelling formats for product-focused and lifestyle content . Proficiency in software like Photoshop, Procreate, or Storyboard Pro . Good communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional creative teams.
