Location: Bangalore Experience level 6-15 years Experience description 6-8 years of experience in the field of electrical engineering with 4+ years of experience in Solar and 2+ years of experience in BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Extensive knowledge and experience of the IEC 60364-series (Dutch norms: NEN1010; NEN3140: NEN-EN 50110-1; SCIOS SCOPE 8-10-12) and other relevant standards or guidelines that apply within the sector Experience in shifting easily between work and keeping the quality of the work at a high standard Preferable experience in ground mounted solar park project(s) in AutoCAD/(BricsCad) Virtosolar designing (Engineering) Experience on Rooftop Solar design, shadow analysis, BESS, Off Grid, Hybrid Solar Hands on experience in Pvsyt Pvsol, design & calculation Experienced in Excel, Autocad 2D, 3D Educational level Bachelor/Master Electrical Engineering, automation, Technical Skills NEN-EN 50110-1 Required IEC 60364 Required MS Excel Required AutoCAD Required Calculations Required Quotation Required AutoCAD 3D Required Roles and Responsibilities You start your workday by going through your emails and reviewing your schedule for the day. Then you'll get to work designing and developing a solar and battery system, depending on the project you're currently working on. This involves defining specifications and selecting the right components. Things that should be included in the design are: Cable calculations Making (3D) laying plans Lifting plans Yield calculations Ballast calculations Simulations for energy storage Design of EMS systems (hardware) During the day, you will also work on (complex) electrical engineering issues and clarify them for your colleagues. You ensure that everything is done according to the applicable standards, quality requirements and safety requirements. You work closely with your colleagues to ensure that the project is delivered on time and that quality is high. At the end of the day, you will evaluate the progress of the project with the team and plan for the next day. Here you are responsible for: Designing, developing and implementing solar and battery systems Determining required specifications and selecting appropriate components for these systems Supervising the implementation of these systems Collaborate with external parties, such as subcontractors and suppliers Function as a knowledge base for electrical engineering issues within the organization Advise in consultation with the manager on all aspects of solar installation projects, battery systems and new products and services Preparing project estimation and design Show ownership of the complete engineering process of his/hers assigned projects You are required to be a professional in electrical standards. Specific Dutch standards will be learned on the job.
