Job Title L2 Application Support Engineer Location Bangalore Years of experience 2 -4 years Mandatory Skills Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher preferred), Monitoring Tools, Application Support, Scripting, ServiceNow, Configuration, Troubleshooting, SQL, Shell Scripting Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically capable L2 Application Support Engineer with Japanese language proficiency and 2–4 years of experience to support business-critical applications. This role will handle escalated issues, work closely with engineering teams, and communicate with Japanese-speaking clients or stakeholders when necessary. The ideal candidate must possess strong learning ability , as the role involves constant adaptation to new tools and processes in a dynamic product environment. Requirements: 2–4 years of experience in application-level L2 support or software support roles. Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher preferred) for reading, writing, and verbal communication. Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Comfortable working with logs, APIs, Application configurations, SQL, and basic scripting. Hands-on experience with issue tracking and monitoring tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Grafana). Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese. Demonstrated ability to learn new systems and tools quickly and apply that knowledge effectively. Ability to work independently, prioritize issues, and manage time effectively.
