↙ Back to Jobs 4 June 2025 Junior Architect Vikram Design Studio 👉 📍 Kolkata Monthly Salary Range : INR 10,000 - INR 30,000 Architectural Design Junior Full Time Onsite Required The Opportunity About the Studio We are a multidisciplinary design practice working across architecture, interiors, and cultural spaces — with a focus on contextual design, detailing, and experience. From music colleges and museums to boutique residences and public buildings, we approach every project with equal parts curiosity, craft, and care. The Role We’re looking for a Junior Architect who’s eager to learn, detail-obsessed, and ready to contribute meaningfully to a design-led practice. You’ll support ongoing projects across stages — from concept development to working drawings and presentations — while learning from a highly collaborative team. What You'll Be Doing Preparing working drawings and presentation sets Assisting in concept development and detailing Coordinating with consultants and vendors Supporting senior architects and project leads Participating in reviews, site visits, and client meetings What You Bring 0–2 years of work experience Strong design sensibility and eagerness to learn Attention to detail in both design and documentation Team player with good communication skills Comfortable working across diverse typologies — institutional, cultural, residential, etc. Good graphics skill Tools of the Trade AutoCAD & SketchUp – for drawing and modelling Photoshop, Illustrator – for graphics and presentations D5 Render – for expressive and realistic visualisations (Bonus: familiarity with Revit) Why VDS?
