Job Purpose / Role Summary: We are looking for a talented and experienced Tableau Developer with minimum5 years of experience in creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into meaningful insights using Tableau or any other BI tool, as well as maintaining and optimizing data models, reports, and visualizations Main Accountabilities / Key Responsibilities: Report and Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and deploy reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. Ensure that the visualizations are both user-friendly and visually appealing. Data Modelling and Transformation: Build and maintain efficient data models by integrating data from various sources. Perform data transformation tasks using data flows, jobs in Tableau Prep and Tableau Desktop. Performance Tuning: Optimize Tableau reports and dashboards for better performance, ensuring scalability for larger datasets. Tableau Server Installation & Configuration: Install, configure, publish and maintain Tableau reports in Tableau server. Server Administration & Monitoring: Monitor and manage Tableau Server and Service performance, datasets and refresh schedules. Troubleshoot issues related to report publishing, access, and refresh failures. User & Role Management: Manage user access, roles, and permissions in Tableau server environments, ensuring proper access based on business requirements. Experience / Skillset / Certifications Required: Educational Qualifications Bachelor's/Master’s degree, MCA/BCA, BE in Computer Science/ Technology Experience: Proven experience in designing interactive dashboards and reports. Familiarity with data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, Impala etc. Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. Experience in optimizing reports for large datasets and improving performance. Skills & Competencies Worked in IT Implementation projects Goals / KPIs: Efficient development: On timeand effective development of Tableau reports and related enhancements. Data accuracy and consistency: Ensure that the data represented in Tableau reports is accurate as per backend data and consistent as per requirement/BRD. Familiarity with Tableau best practices: Need to have basic understanding of Tableau’s best practices in dashboard design, performance optimization, and coding standards. Stakeholder management: Should be able to communicate with business stakeholders clearly in both verbal and written form.
