Position Summary: Premier Pumps Pvt Ltd is seeking a Junior Production Engineer to join our production team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates with a background in Mechanical Engineering, who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a practical, hands-on environment. The candidate should have knowledge of tools like Vernier Calipers, Micrometres, and an understanding of Quality Control techniques. In this role, you will support our engineering team in managing and improving production processes, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: Production Support: Assist in the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing unit, ensuring that production processes are running smoothly and efficiently. Measurement & Calibration: Use Vernier Calipers, Micrometres, and other measurement tools to inspect product dimensions, ensuring products meet quality standards and specifications. Quality Control: Conduct in-process quality checks, review product samples, and verify that finished goods meet quality standards. Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to production workflows to reduce inefficiencies and enhance product quality. Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting production issues related to equipment or processes and recommend solutions. Maintenance: Support the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure high productivity and reduce downtime. Reporting: Prepare and maintain daily production reports, quality control documentation, and machine maintenance logs. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers and production staff to maintain high safety standards, address production challenges, and meet deadlines. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all operations comply with company safety protocols and standards. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent). Skills: Proficient in using Vernier Calipers and Micrometres for precise measurements. Strong understanding of Quality Control processes and techniques. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and maintain machinery. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. High attention to detail and focus on product quality. Benefits: Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹18,000 per month.
