Must have skills : Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Good to have skills :NA Minimum5year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification :15 years full time education Summary: As an Application Support Engineer , you will act as a software detective, providing dynamic services by identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and supporting the healthcare industry. Your work will ensure the system's performance, reliability, and integrity, helping resolve complex technical problems and implementing system enhancements. Roles & Responsibilities: Subject Matter Expert (SME) : Expected to perform independently and manage the team to meet deliverables. Team Leadership : Responsible for team decisions and contributing to key decisions in collaboration with multiple teams. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution : Ensure the smooth functioning of EMR systems by troubleshooting and resolving issues across multiple components. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work with other teams to identify and solve complex technical problems. System Enhancements : Contribute to the development and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades, ensuring continuous improvements in system functionality. Performance Optimization : Optimize system performance through regular updates, patches, and proper system configurations. Security : Implement and maintain security policies and procedures, ensuring systems remain secure and compliant. Documentation : Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Vendor Communication : Liaise with vendors for technical support and troubleshooting as necessary. Automation : Explore automation ideas and develop use cases to streamline processes. US Business Hours Support : Provide support during US business hours as needed. Professional & Technical Skills: Must Have Skills : Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) . Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices. Extensive experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within complex systems. Knowledge of database management systems and SQL . Familiarity with programming languages such as Java or C++ . Experience with Availity , RealMed platforms. Well-versed with IIS , system configurations, Apache , and Middleware . Ability to optimize system performance through regular updates and patches. Expertise in system upgrades and migrations . Good to Have Skills : Experience with application installation , software patch upgrades , and server maintenance. Ability to manage user accounts and permissions . Strong background in security audits and vulnerability assessments . Knowledge of automation and developing related use cases for process improvement. Additional Information: Experience : A minimum of 5 years of experience in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) . Location : This position is based at our Chennai office . Education : A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
