Anodizing Technician

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Anodizing Process Management: Operate and monitor anodizing equipment to process aluminium alloy parts, ensuring they meet customer specifications for color, thickness, and surface finish. Quality Control: Inspect anodized parts for consistency, quality, and adherence to standards, including visual and physical tests, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy. Chemical Handling: Safely handle and mix chemicals used in the anodizing process, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with the anodizing process, equipment, or materials to maintain smooth production flow. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of anodizing machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch numbers, process parameters, and inspection results. Provide reports on production status and any deviations or issues. Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure adherence to environmental and quality standards. Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed during the anodizing process. Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors, quality control teams, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely production. Qualifications & Requirements: Education: Diploma in Chemical. Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in anodizing aluminum alloys, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of anodizing techniques, equipment, and chemical processes. Skills: Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physically demanding environment.
