Job Summary: As an SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) Tech Delivery Subject Matter Expert (SME) , you will play a pivotal role in driving innovative practices within the delivery team. You will provide deep expertise, guide strategy, and contribute to the successful implementation of SAP WMS solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze, design, and implement best practice business changes that align with clients supply chain management needs, optimizing their warehouse operations. Roles & Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Expected to be an SME , providing expert-level knowledge and leadership to the team on SAP WMS. Collaborate and manage the team to perform , ensuring that the team delivers high-quality results within deadlines. Responsible for team decisions , ensuring alignment with the project goals and client requirements. Engage with multiple teams across various departments to drive key decisions and ensure smooth project execution. Provide solutions to problems for your immediate team and cross-functional teams, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing disruptions. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the team to drive performance improvements and streamline processes. Client Engagement & Delivery: Lead the gathering of business requirements to ensure that SAP WMS solutions are properly aligned with client needs and supply chain operations. Shape strategy for technology implementation, ensuring that best practices are applied throughout the delivery lifecycle. Drive delivery engagements , ensuring that the SAP WMS solution meets client expectations, is implemented effectively, and is optimized for maximum efficiency. Work with clients and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues , providing support and expertise during the entire implementation phase. Continuous Improvement & Performance Enhancement: Develop and implement strategies to enhance team performance , ensuring continuous learning and process optimization within the team. Lead continuous improvement initiatives , ensuring that the team's delivery capabilities and SAP WMS processes evolve and improve over time. Professional & Technical Skills: Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) , with hands-on experience in configuring, implementing, and optimizing solutions. Strong understanding of supply chain management processes , including warehouse operations and logistics, and how SAP WMS integrates with broader supply chain systems. Experience in implementing and optimizing WMS solutions , ensuring that they align with client needs and improve operational efficiency. Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules , such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), and SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management). Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the SAP WMS environment, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations. Good-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) , as well as knowledge of other related SAP technologies. Understanding of warehouse automation technologies and their integration with SAP WMS. Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills , capable of leading a team and working with various stakeholders across different teams. Problem-solving mindset , with the ability to think critically and offer solutions to challenges in both technical and business contexts. Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of performance and attention to detail.
