Job Description

The candidate should possess analytical, strategic thinking, attention to detail, master of negotiation & a collaborative leader who can HEAD Supply chain & logistics department in General Optics (Asia) Limited (GOAL) Controller of Supply Chain (Imports & Indigenous) procurement for all jobs activities. Recommending authority on behalf of the negotiating committee for Capital Goods procurement Controller of Logistics and expenses for both imports and exports. Vendor development & management for products and process outsourcing. Ensuring On time availability of imported & indigenous materials for production Verification and validation of Capital Goods proposals. Ensuring arrival of Capital Goods ordered as per schedule and cost provided. Developing strategies to maintain inventory control of Materials in line with the set objectives. Minimizing logistics expenses in line with objectives by adopting suitable strategies. Ensuring balanced job allocation to Supply chain team and improvements as per set targets. Provide technical and commercial support to materials team to perform their responsibilities and to meet the set targets on time. Conduct daily review meetings with Supply chain team and ensure activities of personnel are focused towards their respective and corporate objectives. Conduct review meetings and carry out the activities as planned with a view to meet On Time Delivery. Compliance activities related to ISO, TPM and 5S.
