Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced DBA PL/SQL Developer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Oracle Database Architecture and be proficient in PL/SQL programming. This role involves the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of database solutions to support enterprise applications, ensuring high performance, data integrity, and reliability. Role & responsibilities: Design and implement database structures including tables, indexes, views, and constraints. Develop and maintain PL/SQL code including procedures, functions, triggers, and packages. Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries for data manipulation and reporting. Manage Oracle database architecture, including schema design, storage management, and space utilization. Implement and manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures. Monitor and tune database performance for optimal efficiency. Collaborate with application developers and project managers to support application requirements. Ensure database security, data integrity, and access control compliance. Execute data migration and transformation jobs using scripts and tools. Apply database best practices, standards, and version control processes. Participate in database upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 6 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Database and PL/SQL development. In-depth understanding of Oracle database architecture and administration. Strong experience in database design, normalization, and data modeling. Proven expertise in SQL query optimization and PL/SQL performance tuning. Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies using RMAN or equivalent. Experience in database security and access control implementation. Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies. Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
