Job Title: Senior Python Developer Location: Bangalore Job Type: Full-time Experience Level: 5+ Years Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Developer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Core Python , backend frameworks (FastAPI/Flask), database integration, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while mentoring junior developers. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Core Python and backend development. Proficiency in FastAPI/Flask and RESTful API design. Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), SQL, ORMs, and Alembic . Experience with unit testing (pytest/unittest), Git, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions) . Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and serverless architectures. Ability to design systems based on business needs and scalability requirements. Excellent problem-solving and mentoring skills . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python (FastAPI/Flask) . Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests , following best practices in branching strategies (e.g., Git Flow) and CI/CD pipelines . Integrate Python services with databases using SQL, ORMs (SQLAlchemy), and Alembic for migrations. Architect scalable cloud-based solutions on AWS or Azure (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, Azure Functions). Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs. Optimize backend systems for performance, security, and scalability . Mentor junior developers , conduct code reviews, and promote best practices.
