Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Manage daily operations of the OPD including patient registration, scheduling, and flow. Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure timely consultation and diagnostics. Supervise OPD reception staff, guide Patient Care Executives (PCEs), and ensure adherence to standard procedures. Maintain patient appointment schedules and follow-ups through hospital systems. Handle patient queries, complaints, and grievances with a customer service approach. Ensure the OPD area is clean, organized, and fully equipped at all times. Maintain accurate and complete records of patient visits, prescriptions, billing, and reports. Assist in the implementation of hospital policies and quality initiatives. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly OPD reports for management. Coordinate with the IT team for any system or software issues in the OPD area. Train and support new staff in OPD protocols and procedures. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate in any discipline (Preferred: BHA/BBA in Healthcare Management). Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hospital OPD setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good command over English, Hindi, and Marathi. Computer proficiency with MS Office and Hospital Management Software (HMS). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and patient concerns tactfully.
