Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to teach students from Grade 6 to Grade 10 . The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, innovative teaching methods, and the ability to make mathematics engaging and accessible to students of varying skill levels. The teacher will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, preparing students for higher-level mathematics, and helping them develop problem-solving and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities: Teaching & Instruction: Plan and deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in Mathematics for students in Grades 6-10 . Cover key topics such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, arithmetic, statistics, and basic calculus (as per grade level). Use a variety of teaching methods (visual, hands-on, digital tools) to cater to different learning styles. Curriculum Development: Follow and enhance the school’s prescribed curriculum while integrating real-world applications. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning materials. Student Assessment & Progress Tracking: Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and assignments to evaluate student understanding. Provide constructive feedback and support for improvement. Maintain records of student performance and communicate progress to parents/guardians. Classroom Management: Create a disciplined yet supportive classroom environment. Encourage student participation and critical thinking. Extracurricular & Additional Support: Offer remedial classes or extra help for struggling students. Organize or participate in math clubs, competitions, and school events. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and educational trends. Attend workshops, training sessions, and staff meetings. Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field. B.Ed./Teaching Certification is preferred. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience (Grades 6-10). Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using digital tools (Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards, math software like GeoGebra). Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching. Strong classroom management abilities. Preferred (But Not Mandatory): Experience with CBSE/ICSE/IGCSE/State Board curricula.
