As a core member of our Product Development team you will work with dedicated professionals to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information assets while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends. About the Role: Citco Technology Management is looking for an IT Developer to develop and maintain our Web applications. You will be part of the IT department that manages the core Reconciliation platform for the firm. You will be closely working with a talented bunch of product managers, architects and developers across the globe. Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications. Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in APIs. Strong knowledge of design patterns. Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality. Learn, adapt, test/evaluate, and implement new technologies. Communicate effectively with businnes and Product management teams. Coordinate with the DevOps team to push the application and infra changes to higher environments. Provide technical documentation for APIs. Strong understanding of CI/CD integration. Perform code reviews and ensure code quality. Communicate effectively with peers and leads. Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives. About You: Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. A Full Stack Developer responsible for a wide range of tasks - who can work on both the back-end and front-end of systems. Minimum of 2 years experience developing web and backend applications using Javascript and JSON. Minimum of 3 years experience developing microservices using Python, NodeJS, Swagger/Open Api 3. Strong technical skills in JavaScript UI/UX frameworks (React/Material UI). Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node. Strong programming skills (Python, Javascript). Strong knowledge of design patterns. Experience using REST based or GraphQL APIs from single page applications. Have an understanding of authentication and authorization aspects for APIs. Have a good understanding of SQL and PL/SQL Any formal Cloud based training and any industry cloud related industry accredited certification is a plus. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly. Well rounded individual capable of performing several roles with ability to work in a fast paced, complex IT environment. Personal qualities: Possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, creative, a focus on customer service, possess a high level of energy, enthusiasm, excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, sense of urgency, team player, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and commitment. Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English.
