Job Summary: We are looking for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our B2B growth in the door and architectural hardware segment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the building materials ecosystem, particularly hardware fittings, and proven expertise in client acquisition, relationship management, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of 5 Business Development Executives to drive sales and expand the client base. Responsible for new client acquisition across builders, developers, architects, contractors, and OEMs in the construction and infrastructure sector. Identify and convert business opportunities through cold calling, networking, industry events, and market research. Promote and position our door and hardware solutions among key decision-makers, showcasing USPs and technical strengths. Initiate meetings and product presentations with Architects, Builders, PMC consultants, Contractors, and Interior Designers. Monitor team performance through structured reporting, sales tracking, and field support. Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects and guide the team through deal-closing strategies. Handle high-value negotiations, pricing discussions, and client objections with professionalism and industry knowledge. Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly sales targets, with continuous onboarding of new accounts. Liaise with internal teams (technical, logistics, finance) to ensure seamless client servicing and order fulfillment. Desired Candidate Profile: Graduate/Postgraduate in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration. Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B sales in the door, hardware, or building materials industry. Strong network among architects, builders, and contractors is highly preferred. Proven ability to manage and motivate a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Familiar with industry dynamics, project cycles, and lead conversion timelines. Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office, and sales reporting tools. Show more Show less
