Assistant Engineer

Job Description

Job Profile 1. Equipment Maintenance: - Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on utility equipment, including Nitogen plant, compressors, chillers, and cooling towers. - Conduct repairs and replacements as needed to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. 2. Troubleshooting: - Diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. - Utilize electrical and mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues with utility systems. 3. System Monitoring: - Monitor and maintain water, air, and energy use to optimize resource efficiency. - Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and inventory for spare parts. 4. Safety and Compliance: - Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations while performing maintenance tasks. - Participate in safety training and ensure that all equipment is maintained according to industry standards. 5. Collaboration: - Work closely with production teams to ensure that utility services meet manufacturing requirements. - Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contribute to team efforts in improving overall plant efficiency. 6. Project Support: - Assist in the installation and commissioning of new utility systems and machinery. - Participate in facility improvement projects, offering insights on utility system requirements.
