Zscaler Security Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Zscaler Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity

team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and supporting Zscaler

solutions, with a strong understanding of security technologies, networking fundamentals, and

incident response.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement, configure, and support Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access

(ZPA) solutions.

- Monitor and troubleshoot Zscaler services to ensure secure and seamless connectivity.

- Work on policy configuration, user access control, and security posture optimization.

- Collaborate with IT and Security teams for integration with existing infrastructure.

- Perform routine health checks, log analysis, and incident response for Zscaler-related issues.

- Support end-users and resolve escalated issues in a timely manner.

- Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 12 years of experience in IT Security/Network Security, with exposure to Zscaler solutions.

- Hands-on knowledge of ZIA, ZPA, Cloud Firewall, SSL Inspection, and Web Filtering.

- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, VPNs, etc.).

- Familiarity with security concepts (Zero Trust, DLP, Threat Protection, Identity & Access

Management).

- Experience with troubleshooting tools, log analysis, and incident resolution.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred:

- Zscaler Certified Administrator (ZCCA) or equivalent certification.

- Knowledge of security tools like SIEM, CASB, and endpoint security solutions.
