Job Description

Role Overview: As the Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM)-NORTH for a reputed FMCG brand in the Food, Confectionery, and Beverages industry based in Delhi NCR, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage the national sales function. You will develop and implement the annual sales strategy across all zones - North, South, East, and West. Your role will involve overseeing the RSM/ASM teams handling General Trade, Modern Trade, and Institutional Sales. Furthermore, you will focus on expanding channel distribution networks to ensure wide coverage and depth while monitoring key performance indicators to drive volume growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate and execute the annual sales strategy across all zones - Lead and manage the RSM/ASM teams for General Trade, Modern Trade, and Institutional Sales - Develop and expand channel distribution networks for broader coverage - Monitor key performance indicators to drive volume growth and profitability - Collaborate with Marketing, Trade Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to plan and execute new product launches and go-to-market strategies - Conduct competitor analysis and gather market intelligence to identify growth opportunities - Ensure strong team management, sales planning, and ownership of profit and loss responsibilities - Demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, and a results-driven approach - Utilize an analytical mindset, process orientation, and proficiency in data and tech-based reporting systems Qualifications Required: - Minimum 15-20 years of experience in FMCG Sales with 4-5 years in a regional leadership role - Strong background in the Food, Confectionery, or Non-alcoholic Beverages segment - Proven track record in sales management in North India, preferably in mid-to-large FMCG setups - Proficiency in team management, sales planning, and ownership of profit and loss responsibilities - Excellent interpersonal skills and a results-driven approach - Analytical mindset, process orientation, and comfort with data and tech-based reporting systems - Postgraduate degree in Marketing/Sales or equivalent qualification, preferably an MBA Note: The salary offered is competitive and aligned with industry standards. This is a full-time, permanent position that requires physical presence at the specified location.
