Job Description

Job Title:

Zonal Sales Manager (Retail Sales)

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and expand the dealer network across South India.
Handle order booking, execution, and dealer coordination.
Manage retail stores and local sales operations.
Conduct dealer meets, mason/engineer interactions, and promotional roadshows.
Oversee branding, outdoor visibility, and marketing activities.
Analyze market potential, competition, and sales trends.
Guide and motivate Area Sales Officers and distributor teams.
Drive retail sales growth and ensure achievement of monthly and annual targets.
Collaborate with marketing teams for BTL/ATL campaigns and ROI tracking.

Desired Candidate Profile:

6-12 years of experience in retail sales of
steel sheets (GP/GC, color-coated)
or related materials like
TMT, cement, paints
, etc.
Candidates from
TATA Steel, JSW, AMNS
, or similar brands will be preferred.
Excellent understanding of
South India market
and dealer ecosystem.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Open to travel (up to 20 days/month) with a valid driving license.
Proficiency in
English
and at least one
South Indian language
(Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, or Malayalam).

Education:

B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical/Metallurgy) mandatory.
MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
