Job Description

Objective: The Zonal Manager Insurance will be responsible for driving insurance cross sell initiatives within the housing loan segment. This role involves managing zonal-level sales, optimizing business performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. This position displays high commitment to Company values. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive insurance penetration across housing loan customers. Achieve business targets for the assigned zone by optimizing cross-sell opportunities. Monitor key performance metrics and ensure achievement of revenue goals. Drive productivity of branch teams and relationship managers to enhance insurance sales. Identify and develop new distribution channels within the housing loan ecosystem. Collaborate with sales and credit teams to ensure smooth onboarding and conversion of customers. Train, mentor, and guide the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling skills. Work closely with insurance partners and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution. Address customer grievances and ensure high service standards. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and company policies. Conduct periodic audits and risk assessments to mitigate operational risks. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting as per compliance norms. Qualifications, Experience and Skills: Graduate/Postgraduate. Minimum 10-15 years of experience Prior experience in handling zonal or regional sales roles will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of property valuation methods, construction techniques, and building regulations. Familiarity with housing finance products and the role of technical assessments in loan approval processes. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide technical teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle technical challenges. Proficiency in property valuation software, MS Office, and other technical tools. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams, customers, and external vendors. Personal Attributes: High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently, cross functional and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality of work. Proactive in identifying and addressing issues before they become larger problems.
