About the Role:

Zero Trust Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Zero Trust security strategies, principles, and architectures.
Design secure access frameworks that enforce never trust, always verify across users, devices, applications, and networks.
Assess current security architecture and recommend improvements aligned with Zero Trust principles.
Collaborate with network, identity, cloud, and application teams to integrate Zero Trust controls.
Define policies for identity and access management (IAM), micro-segmentation, device posture, and continuous monitoring.
Lead Zero Trust pilot projects and enterprise-wide rollout plans.
Evaluate and select Zero Trust technologies and tools (e.g., identity providers, micro-segmentation platforms, CASB, ZTNA).
Develop technical standards, guidelines, and documentation to support Zero Trust adoption.
Conduct risk assessments and gap analysis related to Zero Trust implementation.
Provide training and awareness on Zero Trust concepts to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or Zero Trust-specific credentials.
Experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions.
Knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, and firewall technologies.
Background in DevSecOps or Security Automation.
Experience with regulatory compliance related to cybersecurity (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI DSS).
