Role Description This is a contract position for a Routing and Switching Level 1 (L1) role, based on-site in Kochi. The role involves assisting in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of routing and switching systems. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring network performance, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring uptime for network systems. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with team members to resolve technical issues and providing support for system upgrades and updates. Qualifications Networking fundamentals, including knowledge of routing, switching, and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, VLANs, and subnetting) Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of network devices (e.g., routers, switches, and firewalls) Proficiency in network monitoring tools and basic understanding of network security practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network-related issues Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are preferred Ability to work in an on-site role and flexibility to adapt to evolving workflows
