Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and resourceful Purchase and Procurement Officer to handle end-to-end procurement activities for real estate development projects. The role involves sourcing, vendor management, cost negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery of construction materials, MEP items, and other essential services to support site operations and project execution. Key Responsibilities: Manage procurement of civil, MEP, interior, finishing materials, and site-related equipment for residential and commercial real estate projects. Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors, contractors, and service providers. Prepare and process purchase orders, work orders, and contract agreements in line with project timelines and budgets. Coordinate with project, planning, QS, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to avoid project delays. Negotiate terms, pricing, and payment schedules to ensure cost efficiency without compromising on quality. Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and price comparisons for audit and future reference. Monitor inventory levels at site and warehouse; coordinate with stores for timely reordering. Track and resolve discrepancies in delivery, quality issues, and invoice mismatches. Ensure adherence to company’s procurement policies, budget limits, and compliance standards. Prepare MIS reports on purchase orders, cost savings, delivery timelines, and vendor performance. Key Requirements: Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor's in Civil Engineering / Supply Chain or any related field). 4–12 years of experience in purchase/procurement in the real estate or construction industry . Strong knowledge of building materials, finishing materials, electrical & plumbing components. Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP / Tally / Buildsmart / etc.) and MS Excel. Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously. Knowledge of local suppliers, market rates, and regulatory standards is essential. Proficiency in Kannada and English is an added advantage.
