Roles and Responsibilities:

Channel Management

• Oversee day-to-day content uploads on the CNBC TV18 YouTube channel and other social media Platforms.
• Review and edit video content to ensure it meets editorial guidelines and quality standards
• Knowledge of Canva and any video editing software will be an addon point.

Story Discovery

• Scout YouTube and other digital platforms for potential stories and trends
• Collaborate with the editorial team to develop story ideas and produce engaging stories

Audience Growth and Engagement

• Monitor and analyse key performance metrics to inform content and optimization strategies

Collaboration and Communication

• Work closely with editorial, production, and social media teams to ensure seamless coordination for distribution of stories
• Attend regular editorial meetings and contribute with story ideas

Platform Management

• Stay up to date with Social Media features, YouTube's features, algorithm changes, and best practices
• Ensure channel branding, metadata, and video descriptions are optimized for search and discoverability in English.
• Manage and maintain the social media Pages and YouTube channel's overall health, including copyright and community guidelines compliance.
• Manage Livestreams familiar with OBS/Streamyard/ Vmix software

Role Requirements

• Proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken
• Strong news judgment and editorial skills
• Familiarity with social media and YouTube's platform, tools, and best practices and experience with video editing software will be an added bonus
• This role doesn’t have a work from home component
