Job Description Able to lead machine shop operations and production planning. Hands-on experience with Horizontal, Vertical Machining Centre & Turn-mill centers. Knowledge of cutting tools & tool adaptors. Understanding of various work-holding devices & efficient use of manual fixturing elements. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Geometric Dimensioning, and tolerances (GD& T). Ability to read engineering drawings. Experience with low-volume & high manufacturing environments. Programming knowledge (Mazatrol & EIA/ISO). Familiar with measuring instruments like Digital Height Master, Vernier Calliper, Micrometre, Vernier Height Gauge, Thread plug gauge, and Slip gauges. Ability to read and interpret CMM reports. Ability to maintain machine health with regular preventive maintenance as per guidelines. 1~3 years of hands-on experience in handling precision instruments, Machine tool assembly, Precision machine (CNC) maintenance work, Precision bearing & unit assembly (Spindle, Engine, Gear Box/Cam Units, etc.). Being able to read mechanical drawings, and knowing Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Electrical wiring diagrams will be an advantage. Preferably from Govt. polytechnics & having a good academic background. Advantage if the candidate has completed ITI in -Trade Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance (Trade duration 3 years & 1-year apprenticeship)
