XSLT Developer

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: The XML/XSLT Developer has overall responsibility for the technical design process. Leads and participates in the application technical design process and completes estimates and work plans for design, development, and implementation. The Data Specialist also communicates with the appropriate teams to ensure that assignments are delivered with the highest quality and in accordance to standards. Essential Job Functions This position will assist the Content Specialist team with XML, XSLT development, Content identification, Review, Analysis and data mapping. Candidate must have working knowledge and experience in designing, implementing and supporting XSLT, XSD, DTD, and namespace. Experience in the analysis, architecture, documentation, is desired. Must Have: a. 4-8 years working experience with XSLT and overall experience of 5 years plus b. Working experience of contents analysis c. Working experience with creating DTD/XSDs Nice to Have: a. Experience with AltovaXMLSpy, Oxygen, DTD Mapping, RNG b. Experience in XML-based content management systems is a plus c. Familiarity with xslt 2.0 functions Responsibilities: a. Participate in developing XML architecture for a variety of different types of business requirements b. Conduct content analysis, develop content models using DTDs and XML Schemas c.
