X Ray Technician (Medanta Foundation)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Radiographic Imaging:

• Perform X-ray examinations as per prescribed protocols and physician instructions.
  
• Ensure clear, high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
  
• Prepare and position patients properly for radiographic procedures.
  

2. Patient Care & Safety:

• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
  
• Follow all safety guidelines to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
  
• Maintain a hygienic and patient-friendly environment.
  

3. Equipment Handling:

• Operate, monitor, and maintain X-ray machines and related equipment.
  
• Report equipment issues and ensure timely servicing and calibration.
  
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and statutory guidelines.
  

4. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate patient records, test logs, and imaging data.
  
• Support doctors and medical teams with timely delivery of reports and images.
  
• Ensure documentation accuracy for foundation activities, community camps, or outreach sites.
  

5. Outreach & Program Support:

• Assist in diagnostic camps, mobile units, or community health programs conducted by Medanta Foundation.
  
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams for smooth service delivery.
  
• Support awareness, screening, and follow-up activities as required.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in X-Ray Technology / Radiology Technician.
  
• Registration with relevant state or national paramedical council (preferred).
  
• 13 years of experience as an X-ray technician in hospital, clinic, or diagnostic center.
  
• Experience in community health programs or mobile units is an advantage.
  

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in X-ray equipment operation.
  
• Understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
  
• Strong communication and patient-handling skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and in field/outreach environments.
  
• Basic computer knowledge for data entry and record maintenance.
